About

Our Story & The Awakening

Every environmental crisis we face today—from climate change and global warming to the pollution of our land, air, and water—is the unintended consequence of an unreflective, profit-driven culture of overconsumption. For decades, humanity has treated the Earth as a commodity rather than a home.

The concept of the Green Protocol was born out of a profound realization by author and retired Indian Information Service officer, J.M. Pawar. Having spent a lifetime witnessing pristine mountain streams turn into sewers and vibrant forests morph into concrete jungles, he recognized that academic research alone would not save us. The critical science understood by intellectuals needed to trickle down to the person on the street in a language they could understand.

Our Philosophy: Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam

We are guided by the ancient Indian maxim, “Vasudhaiva kutumbakam”The Whole Earth is One Family.

We believe that:

  • We Share a Common Destiny: Whether we acknowledge it or not, all living beings on Earth share a common origin and a interconnected future.
  • From Greed to Contentment: True environmental restoration begins with a spiritual and behavioral shift. We must actively work to move human consciousness away from a culture of conspicuous consumption toward a life of simplicity and contentment.
  • Unity in Diversity: While we face global threats, the best environmental solutions are locally mediated and adopted by communities who understand their unique regional climate and ecosystem

Our Mission

Our mission is to shift gears from isolated environmental efforts to a unified, coordinated global movement. We aim to build a global alliance of individuals, schools, neighborhoods, and villages working in a concerted manner with the ultimate urgency.

Through this digital hub (http://www.greenprotocol.in), we seek to:

  1. Democratize Green Solutions: Provide a free, open-access “Wikipedia-style” repository of sustainable technologies, traditional earth-friendly habits, and biological data.
  2. Ignite Grassroots Leadership: Inspire everyday citizens to step up, form local “Green Clubs,” and execute immediate green agendas in their own neighborhoods.
  3. Bridge the Action Gap: Move humanity past mere discussion and awareness campaigns into real-time, non-violent, face-to-face community action and demonstration.

Meet the Author & Founder

J.M. Pawar

Creator & Custodian of the Green Protocol

J.M. Pawar is a retired government servant and former News Editor with Doordarshan (Indian National Television). Specializing in mass communication and public outreach, he has traveled extensively across the Indian hinterland, studying the devastating effects of rapid urbanization on the natural landscape.

Drawing from six decades of spiritual practice rooted in Sanatana Dharma, Pawar bridges the gap between modern ecological requirements and timeless spiritual wisdom. He created the Green Protocol as a final legacy and an open letter of amends to his grandsons and their entire generation—passing down a blueprint to reclaim the planet before it is too late.
